I first met Bill as opposing counsel in a hotly-contested construction defect matter several years ago. The case lasted for well over two years, traveling first through binding arbitration, then into multi-party litigation in the Pitkin County District Court. Although we each represented emotionally-charged and sometime difficult corporate clients, I was impressed with Bill's demeanor in depositions and in our many mediations. While some of the witnesses and other defense counsel were oftentimes very aggressive, Bill was able to get the matter fully and finally resolved to the satisfaction of both of our clients.
